Trust us when we say Dr. Meade, Dr. Riolo and our staff know there are quite a few myths about orthodontics (and orthodontists) floating around these days. From convenient appointments to offering clear orthodontic appliances, there are so many things our team does to help put our patients at ease. Drs. Meade and Riolo take the extra time to explain each treatment option and what each procedure entails. We use a software program called Screenplay that shows animated diagrams of your teeth and/or jaw's alignment and the appliances that we can use to correct the problem. The program also has videos to explain the details of each appliance, what to expect, and how to care for it. If there are multiple treatment options available, we discuss the pros and cons of each option during your new patient exam.

The fact is, movie stars need to look their best for the silver screen, and it wouldn't be possible without orthodontists like Dr. Betsy Meade and Dr. Christopher Riolo.

Ypsilanti, MI orthodontist, Dr. Meade, loves making her patients' teeth straight and and healthy! She enjoys problem solving to achieve the very best results, and making a positive difference in our patients' lives. But we thought we’d ask her what profession she would pursue if it wasn’t for orthodontia. Here's what Dr. Meade said:
"Of course, my ideal job is being an orthodontist and I love what I do. But, if I could experience another job for a day or a week, I would be a caterer for dinner parties. I would love to go grocery shopping at the farmers market and then turn the local, fresh ingredients into a great meal for people to enjoy."
